One of the problem about old strategic general idea that now many people call as Blue Ocean is
that the more blue the more unusual and this is scared customers a lot.
Form one hand they would like something pretty innovative from the other had when this innovative ideas appear it scare the customer at first and it took time o convince them in feasibility of the idea. It is much helpful for this purpose OTSM Network of problems. This is especially good if it was done in systemic way from very beginning for screening initial situation then for its analysis and synthesis of ideas and for evaluation of the obtained ideas. This make the process visible to the customer and it helps discuss unusual ideas.
The easely ideas accepted the more probability your competitors will use the same strategy and you can find you in the Red Ocean instead of Blue one. And vise versa.
